Despair

This world is full of people who do bad things. There are the minor things, like cutting in line, and then, there are the major things. The major ones cause you to wonder how they could do such a thing, and you thought they were better then that.
It's kind of like the picture of the clouds. Without them being so dark, we wouldn't be able to appreciate them when they are bright and happy. Without all these bad things, we wouldn't be as grateful for the sunny days, per say.
Nevertheless, bad days can stink. You'll end up going off at someone (which I did today), keeping everything inside (guilty as charged an that one, too), or eating a lot of chocolate (I admit to nothing).
Despair is the only word that can correctly explain what you feel when someone you love does one of the major things. Your heart breaks for them, and you worry about the consequences as much as they do.
However, without consequences, no one would stop doing evil. Maybe it's for the best, but it sure as day doesn't feel like it. That's the thing though, maybe bad people who do bad things serve as a warning of some sort, to protect others. For example, sometimes the only thing that keeps us from tearing our friend's head off is that we'd go to jail. Lucky them.
