Routine After Routine

Here we are. Another day, another routine. We wake up, go to work or school, eat somewhere in between, go home, eat, sleep, repeat. Even I can admit, it gets boring after awhile. Always expecting the same thing from every day, gets old. What if, by changing the way we live, we can change the way the world around us works? How could we possibly change the inevitable fact that we have to go to school or work?
Obviously, there is nothing we can do to not have to work in some way, shape or form. The question is, can we change how we see the people around us. I have a challenge: say something genuinely kind to someone who either doesn't like you, or you don't like them. Even in the middle of a full blown argument with your spouse/parent, stop, breathe, and tell them how much they mean to you.
I never did say that changing things up would be easy, but neither is life in general. I encourage you to try it, and see how it can change everything. Nothing would impact someone more then when they are only thinking hateful thoughts about you, you come up and tell them how beautiful their heart is, how much you love that they are loyal to their friends, etc. The change will be drastic, and even a nice change from the day to day life. Maybe, just maybe, we could spice things up a bit, and take a break from routine after routine.
